We held our wedding mehndi and day-after farewell breakfast events during our wedding weekend at the Hood River Hotel and had a great experience! Baylee and James were incredibly helpful with planning and coordinating, even setting up tours ahead of time for us to see different spaces in the hotel. The bridal suite was a bright and cozy space for our immediate family to spend time together, and the Emerald Room was a perfect size for all our guests during the brunch. The staff also was incredibly helpful with setup and other logistics including a hotel room block. Many of our guests stayed at the hotel as well and had a great time there. The hotel has so much charm and is so centrally located, and everyone there is so friendly!

I made a reservation through booking.com for my mom for her birthday, and when I called to fill out a credit card auth, I spoke with Alicia. She was so sweet and told me she'd make a note that it was my moms birthday. When my mom checked in she said the room was great, staff was sweet, and there was something in the room waiting for her. She really enjoyed her stay and im very grateful for the staff making her feel special

If you’re looking for an indoor wedding venue with a classic vintage vibe and lots of included amenities make sure to look into The Emerald Room at the Hood River Hotel! I just had my October wedding at the hotel and it was truly an amazing experience. The Wedding Suite; to stay in and for the bridal party to get ready in, the Bunkhouse; a huge luxury bunk room for guests to stay in and groomsmen to get ready in, and the huge Emerald Room for the entire wedding to happen in one intimate space. The staff was helpful and efficient in transitions throughout the day. The space is charming with lots of room for your own decorative additions. An amazing spot to have a wedding!!

We loved our stay at the Hood River Hotel! We stayed over the Christmas holiday and splurged for a suite with a kitchen. The windows that lined our room were lovely. We loved watching the rain come in over the river. It was so fun to stay in a historic hotel. Lots of charm and character! We especially enjoyed the sauna, which was quiet and rarely used by other guests. We felt extremely spoiled wandering the halls in the hotel provided bath robes. Because of the holiday and a lot of restaurants closing, we were especially grateful for the unlimited coffee and hot chocolate. There was also board games in the lobby and a chess board in a nook on the first floor. Great location, everything is walkable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Lots of care has gone into maintaining this hotel. Great work with the recent renovations! Other reviews mentioned trains, and while it was on my mind, I was largely unbothered by them. It kind of added to the charm of the area. We’ll be back for sure. And next time we’ll bring more family.

This is a charming old hotel and not in a fully renovated way. The rooms are nice and clean but no luxurious and they are old. The one tho g I don't like was the carpet in the hall- old and an odd pattern so it makes walking down the steps a little scary like it's a weird pattern that makes you miss a step The lift is old but cool

Cool, funky historic hotel in the heart of Hood River with a great restaurant in the lobby. The location couldn't be better, but they do not have parking and the city is very strict about on-street parking - you have to feed the meter beginning at 9am until 6pm or incur a big parking fine. Unfortunately, the hotel staff does not provide any information about parking, so if you are reading this, this is your warning - cool hotel but parking is a pain.

I am in love with this place. Great location, decent price and great staff! The hotel itself is really cool, very vintage but clean and well run.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was my partners birthday weekend, and the staff went out of their way to make her feel special. Thank you for the incredible service and for making our vacation feel like home. We really didn’t want to leave, but we will 100% be back!
